Touch Stone Maze

Touch Stone Maze is located above Strathpeffer near Knockfarrel, is a modern (1995) 25m diameter construction consisting of 81 large Rocks from quarries all over the Scottish Highlands and Islands. The Stones form 5 concentric circles based on prehistoric designs in which geology and astronomy are beautifully integrated in this unique creation. The Maze has been built incorporating alignments with the various positions of the sun and moon.
